Strands NYT

You know how good it feels when you finally figure out a word puzzle? Strands NYT gives us that moment over and over. The New York Times makes a word search game every day, but don't be fooled by the way it looks. This word search isn't like most.
You are given a new grid of letters every day, with six rows and eight columns. There is a theme at the top. It's sometimes a joke. It's sometimes a clever puzzle. You need to figure out the hidden word.
Strands NYT is unique because it combines the simple fun of word games with the quiet thrill of figuring out a puzzle. It's not enough to just find words. Piece by piece, you are figuring out an idea until the whole picture becomes clear. It is well-thought-out, rewarding, and just the right size for a daily brain rest.

How to Play

The controls are easy to understand, but the problems will make you think.
Find the words: One word or phrase from the daily theme is written in each of the six 6x8 letter grids. To find them, follow the lines of letters that are linked in any direction—left to right, up and down, or diagonally across. To move the letters, just drag your finger or the mouse across them and let go.
Focus on the colors. A word that fits the theme will turn blue. A unique word is also known as the spangram. This longer word or phrase tells you what the theme words all mean. It turns yellow when you find it.
If you're not sure where to begin, use tips. Not a problem. You can also find words that have nothing to do with the theme. For every three non-theme words you find, you get one tip. The tip will show you one letter of a theme word, which will help you figure out what to do next.
There is only one easy rule: by the time you finish the game, you must use each letter in the grid exactly once. In other words, the end answer fits together like a puzzle, leaving no extra pieces or trash.

Details

New Puzzle Every Day: Every day you can solve a new puzzle. Every day has a different theme, it never feels the same.
Different points: Strands is different from other word searches because it has the spangram, which is a connecting term that ties the theme together. It's often that rewarding "aha!" moment that changes the way you see the whole grid.
Built-In Help: Having trouble with a tough theme? The game awards you for being interested. You never feel totally lost because every three off-theme words you find let you in on a secret.
Clean, Simple Design: The layout doesn't have any extraneous elements. You only need letters, a theme, and your own attention. It seems like a calm area of the web where you can think.

Hope that you have a fun time with the Strands NYT. Find the true answer everyday and practise your puzzle skills.
