Tradle

Tradle is a Wordle-inspired geography and economics puzzle game that tests your knowledge of countries and global trade. It’s not about guessing a secret word; you now need to guess a country based on a chart showing its major exports. Sounds really interesting, right? Let’s start guessing the hidden country!

Play Tradle and Find the Secret Country in 6 Attempts

At the start of each round, you will immediately see a treemap of a country's exports. Larger rectangles represent products that take a greater share of its exports. Your task is to study these stats and data, guess the country, and use the feedback to ultimately find the answer within 06 tries.

Study the export chart

Look at the map and thoroughly learn what is shown on it. Each rectangle represents an export product, and its size indicates how large a share of the country's exports that product has. Pay attention to all the details, starting with the largest rectangles first. They tell you which areas of the economy this country is strong in. For example, crude oil might suggest an oil-exporting nation, and coffee, cocoa, fruits, or nuts could point toward a country with a strong agricultural export sector.

Make your first guess and get feedback

Type a country name into the guessing field and press the Guess button. If your guess is incorrect, the game provides geographical feedback:
Distance: how far your guessed country is from the correct country.
Direction: where the target country lies relative to your guess.
Proximity (%): how close your guess is geographically.

Refine your guesses

Keep guessing more using both geographical hints from prior guesses and your knowledge of international trade to get closer to the final answer. If your first guess is too far away, use the distance and direction to narrow down the region before trying another country. When the proximity is above 90%, you know you are very close to the hidden country.
