Not having played a word game before? Don't worry—the rules are simple and easy to understand.
Choose the length: Check out the button at the top of the screen before you begin. Your secret word can have anywhere from 4 to 11 letters. You can slide it left or right to choose the length.
Enter a starting word. Type any real English word that is the right length, then press the Enter key.
Read the color clues. The game will color-code your letters right away to help you:
Green: The letter is right where it should be.
Yellow: The letter is in the secret word, but it doesn't belong there.
Gray: The letter isn't in the secret word at all.
To solve the problem, get rid of the wrong letters and change the right ones by following these color hints. You have 6 chances to figure out the word.
