Do not forget this, hockey fans! If you are crazy about NHL stats, Puckdoku is the daily game you need to play. You need to remember things, know a lot about sports, and plan ahead to win. You can play Puckdoku for free on this page. Do it every day starting right now!
You have to put a person in the right cell by following the rules for each row and column in Puckdoku. It's a 3x3 grid. For a pick to count, the person must have played at least one NHL regular season or playoff game for that team.
When a cell gives a team a stat or award, things get interesting. It had to have been written down while the person was on that team in this case. But the numbers don't have to be from the same season if a cell asks for them. Always remember that teams that move count as one club. Except for "Special retro teams" like the Hartford Whalers, which is why you need to read the sections very carefully!
You can just look at your hockey facts because the screen is clean and easy to use:
To pick someone, click on a cell and type their name. Be careful, because you can only pick one person at a time and can't change your mind.
Shots Left: You start out with a certain number of shots. No matter how close or far off your guess is, it's still a "shot."
Every day there's a new game to play, so you can keep testing your skills.
Your score for uniqueness is based on how well-known your choices are. You'll get a bigger percentage if you pick a well-known hero, but you'll get a lower, better score if you pick an unknown bench player.
For "Played with" categories (like Sidney Crosby), a player only needs to have been on the ice with the other player at some point in the NHL. It's not necessary that they played for the team named on the other axis.
Keep Your Streak: If you fill out the grid properly on the day it comes out, you'll get a streak. Remember that you don't always need a perfect 9/9; your run will stay alive as long as you finish the grid (for example, 9/12).
Daily NHL problems adds new problems every 24 hours.
Tracks a lot of statistics, like the World Juniors and special award milestones.
