WhereTaken's special feature lies in its extremely sophisticated scoring system. With a maximum of 1000 points for 5 rounds, the points you receive are inversely proportional to the margin of error. Points are divided according to strict distance brackets:
From 0 - 100km: You receive a maximum of 200 points (decreasing very little for each kilometer).
From 1001 - 2000km: Points will be reduced to approximately 100 - 140 points.
Over 10,000km: You will receive no points. The more accurate your guess, the higher your score, requiring players to have solid geographical knowledge and keen observation skills.
