SUTOM is a simple word game that checks how well you can remember words and figure out what they mean. Everyone plays the game every day and tries to guess the "word of the day." The word to be found is between 6 and 10 letters long, and each player has 6 chances to get it right. Your words must begin with the same letter as the goal word and be in the game's vocabulary. This is one thing that makes the game stand out. You can't use real names.
After each guess, SUTOM uses color to give you a clue. It's right and in the right place if the letter is on a red tile. A yellow tile shows that the letter is in the goal word but not where it should be. The answer doesn't have any letters on a blue background. Now that players know this, they have to rule out some options and change their guesses for the next turn.
Don't try to guess the word based on how it looks; learn more about it first. Pick a real word that has a lot of different letters to quickly find the ones that might be in the answer.
Tell the difference between the right letters and the right places to put them: You shouldn't put a letter back where it was if it goes yellow. Now it's your turn again. Try a different spot and keep the letters that are marked in red.
Don't forget the letters that were taken out: The blue letters on the background should be taken out of the picture. Do not use letters that you know are not in the answer if you only have a few turns left. This will help you get to the right answer faster.
PC:
Hit the key to make the guess right away.
To send, click the "Submit" or "Confirm" button on your mouse.
To delete or change something, press the Backspace key.
Mobile:
Use the touch computer to type the answer.
The answer is sent when you press the "Confirm" button on the screen.
Pressing "Backspace" will erase the letters you just typed.
